In late 2015 I was a workshop leader and cellist in a project sponsored by the Gallipoli Association and  designed by Rebecca Campbell-Gay from Islington Museum. With musician Firat Derat, we taught folk songs in english and turkish to pupils (years 5 and 6) from five primary schools across London. Along with compositions by the pupils themselves, inspired by primary sources written by soldiers who fought (and in some cases died) at Gallipoli, these songs have been woven into this 20-minute video  memorial to those that died at Gallipoli one hundred years ago in 2015.

This is a documentary about the project itself.
